Harvest Child Development Center

We believe that early-childhood professionals are planting seeds in the lives of the children they teach. The staff of Harvest Child Development Center is committed to doing all we can to prepare our little ones to face the world head-on emotionally, socially, physically, cognitively, and spiritually.

We believe that 90% of a child's learning foundation is established by the time they reach five years of age. We target this concept by providing an enriched learning environment that is developmentally-appropriate for children. Such an environment is hands-on and process-oriented, not product-oriented.

We recognize the need to provide a suitable physical environment for children. The health and safety of the children in our care receive high attention. We also have designed the environment to meet their innate physical activeness.

We believe that basic Christian principles are essential in providing children with a well-balanced base for their future growth. Therefore, we offer special curriculums to meet this standard. Children are taught that Jesus is their friend and that the Bible and its stories are the true Word of God and the way for their lives to be patterned.

We strive to provide children with a secure homelike environment. We feel that it is important for parents to be a part of their child's growth. We meet this by keeping parents informed and by providing parents ways to be involved in the school. We provide positive for children to develop socially through basic Christian concepts and specially developed units.
